Middle School Campus Life Sky Camp


JOIN CAMPUS LIFE THIS SUMMER FOR THE WEEK OF YOUR LIFE!
July 8, 2024 - July 13, 2024

We will be taking middle schoolers up to Sky Camp on Fall Creek Lake!

Middle school students must have attended 5+ Campus Life clubs this school year to participate. REGISTER as soon as possible to secure your spot! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER A MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT FOR SKY CAMP! The cost is $289 per student. Fundraisers and scholarships may be available!

COST INCLUDES:
 * Transportation
 * Food for the week
 * Boating, tubing, and paintball
 * All other activities

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT CAMPUS LIFE SKY CAMP

Sky Camp is located on Fall Creek Lake. We have kids turn in their phones upon arrival to keep them from being lost or stolen. If there is an emergency, we will have an emergency land-line number available to parents and campers for communication.

WHAT TO BRING TO SKY CAMP

□       **Suitcase or bag labeled with student’s name and EOYFC with the following:**

□       Sleeping bag
□       Pillow
□       Flashlight
□       Toiletries (soap, shampoo, tooth paste, etc.)
□       Warm weather clothing for five days
□       Sweatshirt and pants or other warm clothing for night activities
□       Sandals for showers/waterfront
□       Long sleeve clothes/pants and closed toe shoes for paintball
□       2 towels (for the beach and showers)
□       Modest swimsuit and attire
□       Spending money for camp store to purchase snacks, apparel, etc. (All $$ will be turned in at the camp store.  Remaining funds will be given back to students at the end of the week)
□       Rain jacket (just in case)
□       1 or 2 dark outfits for night activities
□       1 outfit that can get very dirty – including shoes
□       A T-shirt for Tie Dye if desired. Campus Life shirts will also be available for purchase.
□       **All electronic devices will be turned in upon arrival at camp including camper cell phones. All items will be stored safely until they are returned at the end of the week. This is to prevent theft and distractions for the camp experience.  You may call 541-910-5159, 541-337-2520, 541-914-7401, or 541-937-3355 if you need to get a hold of your student. Leave a message if no one picks up.

MEDICATIONS

Please send prescription drugs in the original container with proper dosage and usage inscribed. Please mark the student’s name with a permanent pen on all medications including inhalers. Our nurses and medical team appreciate your attentiveness to these details so we can better ensure the health and safety of all students during camp. All meds (prescription and over the counter) will be turned in to the camp infirmary. 

IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTICE

Student safety is our top priority. This event is subject to restrictions set in place to limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2. Event details are subject to change if we are required to do so by these guidelines. We will be following state guidelines with all Campus Life events taking place while those restrictions are in effect. If you exhibit symptoms of CoViD-19 infection or suspect you have been exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, you are asked not to attend this event. All leaders will be screened for symptoms prior to the event. To attend this event, your parent/guardian must complete a release form that acknowledges the risk of infection despite our efforts to combat it, and releases Eastern Oregon & Lane County Youth For Christ and its leaders of any and all claims to liability for the infection or its consequences. Please contact your site leader if you have any questions.

INFORMATION FOR ALL ATTENDING

Please screen yourself for CoViD-19 symptoms before coming. This includes taking your body temperature and checking for the following symptoms per the CDC: Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose not caused by allergies, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea. If your temperature is 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, or you exhibit symptoms of the virus, please contact us and let us know you will not be attending.
